With iOS 6 being released in just a few hours, we now need to look to the future. The Future of iOS 7 is soon to be in our hands. And now we need to find out what do we really want with this new operating system. With so many choices of mobile operating systems out there, what do we really want? Join us as we dive deeper, into the world of Apple.
The first thing that I would want is the ability to put folders within folders, and to have scrolling folders. If any mobile operating system is going to take over the desktop world any time soon, then we need to have the functionality of current operating systems. I would also like a better task manager. I want the ability to open any app and leave off right where I was. Once again this has to do with my mobile operating system to be equal to my desktop operating system. The only reason I still carry around a notebook computer is because tablets are not at the same quality yet. They certainly have a lot more potential than laptops and especially net books ever did.
The rest of the wish list is more about just being a better OS and less being like a desktop OS.
A Panoramic Camera:
One of the reasons that most people buy a smart phone now is for a good pocket camera. We carry our phones with us wherever we go and we want the ability to take amazing shots wherever we are. And unless you are really good with Photoshop making a panoramic picture is not the easiest thing in the world to do. Many Android smart phones have that ability, and it is a really cool and fun feature, even most of the point and shoot cameras have that same feature. Why can’t the iOS?
Now I know that I have already talked about the task manager in an above statement, we need to also have a better way to get to the task manger. Right now you have to click the home button twice on every device except the iPad. Why is that? I don’t know about you, but I have had my iPhone for a little over three months and I can tell the difference between when it was new and now. The home button is wearing down. Not granted I don’t spend more than ten minutes in anyone app, this really needs to be fixed.
A Better Siri:
With iOS 6 Siri will be able to do a lot of really good things, however she is still very limited. She needs to have better integration with all of the apps on your phone, not just want Apple says you can.
With all versions of iOS, we can and will always be able to find things that it is lacking or missing. No mobile operating system is perfect. There will always be ways to find problems or missing features. This is why the jaibreaking community, and this blog, are around. To show, our viewers, what they good do with their iOS devices. Whatever they want, however they want.
